Opera Mini Help

For those of you who are using Opera Mini 4, which java midlet manager are you using?. Ever since I've upgraded to the new rom I've been experiencing issues with my phone locking up after going into sleep mode.

I have reflashed it and the only app I have installed is Opera Mini 4 with Esmertec Jbed Build 20070802.2.1 and it continues to randomly lock up when it goes into sleep mode or I turn off the screen.

The only think I can think of that may be causing this is the manager...any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

Use the original Java manager and you should not have any problems unless it is a heavy flash site or ad site. When I installed Esmertec it screwed with a couple of my applications and it just wasn't worth it to me.

Re: Opera Mini Help

You cant use the orignal java midlet manger with Opera Mini 4, it causes midlet exception errors when trying to visit any site.....

i've used it with OM4.1, as i was having all kinds of problems using OM with the new ROM on the Intent Midlet Manager which worked for me on previous ROMs. It'll occasionally crash or just freeze when switching from portrait to landscape, but i've never gotten an exception error.

Re: Opera Mini Help

So far I'm happy to report that after upgrading to the new version of Esmertec Jbed provided by tmz, I have yet experienced a phone lockup when it goes into sleep mode. By now my mogul would have locked up on my old version of esmertec jbed.

So far so good!!!!
