Activesync opens my docs on computer?

Anyone else have this issue? my phone just started opening c:/documents and settings/John _____ (my documents folder).... Coincidentally, it started on the same day I downloaded a file that gave me a virus warning.. However, I've run a full virus and spybot scan on my computer (in safe mode) and found nothing, so I'm not sure if it's a virus or a coincidence.

Anyone got any insight?

Re: Activesync opens my docs on computer?

What do you mean?

I am assuming that you mean that when you connect your phone,, that upon connection this folder pops up auto on your desktop?

Hmmmmm... if that is the case,, that is strange,,

did you set up a folder in activesync to be the folder your phone would sync media files with? if that is the same folder this may be what it is doing..

not sure buddy,,,

give a little more specifics and lets see if we can fix you up....

Re: Activesync opens my docs on computer?

Lol.. .thanks for the thanks..

Ok, here's what happens:

I connect my phone to my sync cable, and as soon as activesync gets triggered, a folder opens on my desktop.. it had been my personal "documents" folder where my favorites, etc are stored... a folder TOTALLY unrelated to activesync... but today, I uninstalled activesync and reinstalled, and now, it opens c:/program files/activesync ...

I'm thinking it has to be a virus, but I've never seen a virus that attacted activesync before, so I'm a little take back by it... my AVG and spybot scan doesn't find anything though.. so I really am not sure what to think

Thanks in advance for any help..
