How to Back Up Cody SMS Texts?

To my knowledge, PIM Backup doesn't save them, correct?

There is a file in the windows directory called PalmMsgV001. Copy that, after installing Threaded SMS but before opening it overwrite the one in the windows directory with the one that you copied.

How do you convert the PalmMSGV001 to WM6.1 built in threaded messaging?

Use Dashwire, it's free. You can back up your texts, contacts, photos, voicemail, pictures, ringtones and bookmarks.

the only way i back up threaded sms..i disable it

i grabbed this over from xdadevelopers..thx to clickdeath

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Setting s\OEM\SMSInboxThreadingDisabled

DWORD

value set to 1.

You have to create the OEM folder yourself but apart from that it seems to work okay.

the way i had to do it..was to go into my registry and navigate to settings/oem..then hold ur stylus in that area and it says create dword or key..click dword then for the name type in SMSInboxThreadingDisabled..put in the value..(1) exit the registry..soft reset and waaallaa
