Cell call priority registry tweak?

I've searched and searched and can't find where I found this. Somewhere I read a registry tweak that changes your call 'priority'. The default setting for civilians is '0'... but there are higher priority levels for EMT and emergency personnel. If you're in a crowded stadium, for example, you can get a call out because you have higher priority.

Anyway I made the registry change, and I didn't write down the source. I would like to figure out what I changed in case I need to redo all my tweaks later. Anyone know where I can find this tweak? Thanks in advance-

Search for overload access, Alocc Priority.

Re: Cell call priority registry tweak?

Yes! You remembered the term I was looking for! Thanks.

One thing- I noticed when accessing this screen (##778#) there was a Data section. Under that was a setting called "RevA" and set to "Disable". hmmm.... I set to enable. I figured it would be enabled by default. Should everybody who got the latest ROM go check?

this has been tested already. if you look at the way its worded;
by default it says Disable= which means it IS enabled at this time. setting it to Enable would put it in the disabled state, which you can prove by running speedtests with both setttings.
they could have picked a better way to word that for sure!

Re: Cell call priority registry tweak?

Not necessary, but I believe it's the yellow thumbs up button in the bottom right of our posts.

I've looked and looked... firefox and IE... no thumbs up button. Here's a screen cap.

Re: Cell call priority registry tweak?

I believe you need 50 posts before you can give thanks to people. Makes sense, because I can see people registering a bunch of fake accounts just to give their main account thanks a million times.

Re: Cell call priority registry tweak?

By the way, I've read in the past (I think over at XDA) that this setting was debunked and doesn't really do anything (the "call priority" setting, not "thumbs up".)

YMMV.
