upgrading rom question
 

My friend just got the xv6800 (verizon's version of the titan) and I was trying to put no2chems rom on it. The program kept freezing up with the hard-spl unlocker. My question is, is there a different unlocker for the verizon version of the phone? Is there a special radio for verizon? Thanks!

nvm got it working, but getting an authentication error, gonna call verizon in the morning, the *228 didn't work...

if this is the first flash to the 3.35 sprint radio, then yes you need VZW to give you a new 'Akey'. subsequent ROM flashes, however, you will just need to *228 to re-authenticate..
just tell them you hard reset the phone. they wont ask any Q's.
