HTC Vogue / HTC Touch Camera app

The folks over at xda-developers have the touch camera app in .cab form.

Better camera images. But no flash support, but if your like me, then you never use the flash anyway.

Here's the linky.

Re: HTC Vogue / HTC Touch Camera app

I tried this ,, and really could not tell a difference in the pictures...
I set my phone up on the coffee table, had good lighting and used the stock titan cam app to snap a soda, then used the vogue app to snap the same exact one,, took both images and loaded them up on the laptop,,

the filesize was exactly the same, the resolution was the same, and the quality on screen was same,, at least as far as I could tell,,,

but this is just my opinion,, I talked to some people at xda that swear that it is better, but they also wonder if its just placebo...

oh well,, it is pretty cool though,, I like the interface better...

I'll third that.

Did quite a few picture tests with both camera programs... for the life of me, I couldn't tell any difference in quality. Interface is definitely a bit different (some may like it better) but without the flash it's definitely a downer.

Can't really expect too much with a fixed-focus 2MP camera in a PDA with a LED as a flash... but for what it does, it's actually handy sometimes.

.
yeah what was all that jazz they were talking about this phone being an auto focusing camera,,
this was all over the place before the titan was released,,, now you never hear that anymore...

hmmmm..

I just know that i was expecting the camera to at least be better than the one on my 6700,, and even though it is higher megapixel, the quality to me is about the same... and by all means make sure you havent drank any caffiene before taking a picture,, lol shaky shaky blurry blurry.....
