OK, we agree the Mogul is a fairly good device, minus a few things. The big ones in my mind:
1. Lack of a flush mounted screen (I hate the bezel on the edge)
2. Not enough RAM

I am refusing to participate for three reasons.

1. LG doesn't know how to make high-end cell phones;
2. As a result, their new product will be something that the masses of low-end prepaid cell phone users want, and will benefit none of us; and
3. All your shiit are belong to them. See quote.

That's is the most important upgrades that should be in the next Mogul. LG could not put together a better device than HTC!!=D>

I agree with the previous posters about lg and this thread is going nowhere fast there is already a thread out there discussing what people want in the new mogul.

My next "Mogul"
1. I like the texture of the Touch's case - The Mogul is too darned slippery
2. I don't want a raised screen, but somewhere between the Mogul and the Touch - small lip (so when you send it sliding across the floor its doing it on the edges not the screen.
3. Fewer buttons - I've taken to removing functions as the way it is now it's a minefield of buttons.
4. Louder speaker with proper duplexing so it doesn't pull its audio back into the mic and cause echo.
5. Just double the RAM - ROM is just fine - some people must want car batteries to keep the thing on for a day.
6. Put a real browser on the thing.
7. Don't mess up the hardware keyboard!
8. Sprint - CDMA
9. If you are going to put in a Camera - at least make it useful - keep the flash!

That ought to just about cause me to dump my 30 day old one and purchase a new one.

Love your enthusiasm but in reality you are going to get probably hundreds of different designs and feature lists from different people... I'd say find a few like-minded fellow PPCgeekers and go for it.

here's my thought of what i'd like to see in a phone:
a flat touchscreen: no bezel as previously posted
a qwerty keyboard but the phone should not be much thicker than the touch
built-in gps and rev a out of the box
something more innovative than the cube it's cool for all of 2 seconds but after that not very useful
improve the music store maybe with some sort of coverflow
256 megs storage
512 megs memory
bluetooth support
a 3 mega pixel(at least) with a flash
wi-fi
a better web browser with flash support
for a visual imagine the touch dual but instead of the keypad sliding up the keyboard would slide out to the side like the current mogul does.
I'm sure im leaving something out but this is a good start i love my touch but i would trade it in a heartbeat for something that resembles this and still maintain a comfortable size

Mogul v2.0? TYTN II Kaiser (w/ video cam up front) for CDMA, that would be a nice start..

Personally I also like the Touch/Wing rubbery texture. Would really like colorful options, um like jelly bellys.. yeah yeah!:protest:
