How Do I Integrate Windows Live Into My Today Screen

Please be patient with this as I'm a new at this. However, I've spent countless hours over the past two days seeking information on integrating Live Messenger and Search into my HTC default plugin. Can someone provide me a detailed task list for accomplishing this?

Try this, go to Start, Settings, Today, Items. Look to make sure that the Windows Live is checked.

I dont believe Windows Live is an actual official plug in for windows mobile yet.
you can get Google Search as a today plugin, however......

I am using a custom rom and I'm just looking for a cab or something to get the live searchbar as an option for the today screen. Does anyone have any ideas on what direction I should look for this? I don't want to use the google one. The BuildOS options for enabling this plugin don't seem to have any effect.

From your Mogul, download the latest version Live, and you should be good (according to the MS site).

I tried that to no avail already. It installs Live Search but it doesn't give an option for a today plugin. Any other ideas?

both windows live and live search on my mogul give options for today plugins.
