Whats your in car hands free setup?

Just wondering if any of you had some effective but low cost setups for your setting your mogul up in your car.

Point being, I have no cd player, and would stream music through my mogul in my car and wondered what accessories if any some of you users had tried and had success with? What type of universal harnesses are out there that wont break my bank?

Re: Whats your in car hands free setup?

you would need an audio port , you can either use an audio in/out cable. (head phone jack) from phone to car. You can also use a head unit in your car that has usb port and run a data cable, use the head unit on "aux" mode and it will pick up what ever music you play from your ppc.

Re: Whats your in car hands free setup?

Motorola S9 headphones and Motorola T505 speakerphone/FM transmitter

I've had the headphones for a while, and just got the T505 a week ago or so.

Handoff between the two is nearly seamless once you get the timing right. Shut off one, then turn on the other.

I just ordered a clip/mount setup for both my cars from Proclip - I should have them soon.

Oh, you said low cost??!?!?!

Buy any cheap FM adapter and use the USB to stereo mini-plug adapter that came with your phone. That should work for music, for phone calls just grab a cheap bluetooth headset.

There's one on http://www.woot.com/ right now for $9.99

Re: Whats your in car hands free setup?

I have used the cassette adapter, works great and very cheap. But I got lucky for Christmas and my wife gave me one of these: Parrot MK6100

It rocks! But not exactly cheap.

Re: Whats your in car hands free setup?

Thanks guys, I understand the FM modulator/casette thing part, but im talking more of a harness unit or whatever so that my phone isnt just laying scooting around on my dash, etc.

Any ideas?

Re: Whats your in car hands free setup?

This Seidio cradle is pretty cool from what I hear. Charges, built in speaker for calls and audio out for music. Or check out Proclip, I have one for my Garmin Nuvi and really like it.

I have a Pioneer DEH-p7900bt bluetooth head unit. Streams music and comes with a mic to mount in the car for hands free. Works great.

Same setup here! The 7900BT is a great head unit, plus it offers a lot of extra features as well such as iPod control. With the built in bluetooth abilities, you can use the Mogul wireless with it and have audio plus phone abilities. With internet radio over the Mogul, I don't even listen to my other audio sources much anymore! It's not a cheap solution, but well worth it, and if you keep your factory stereo you can put it back if you sell your current vehicle and take the Pioneer with you! That's my plan at least.
