Minimize incoming call without ignoring the call.

Does that make sense? LOL OK here's what I'm aiming for; I'm looking for a way to continue whatever I was doing on my device before an incoming call came in WITHOUT ignoring (hanging up) on the caller. Is this at all possible? Pretty much, I want to minimize the incoming call box and continue what I was doing before the call came in.

Re: Minimize incoming call without ignoring the call.

Umm... If I understand you right, you can just tap the 'X' in the top right hand corner and it will take you to the Today screen...

To go back to your call window the left softkey should be labeled 'call status', press that to resume your call window

Re: Minimize incoming call without ignoring the call.

Thanks for the response trobb, but I think you're misunderstanding me. I know it's does sound a lil confusing though! Hmmmm, for example, I'm sending a text message and someone calls; I don't want to ignore (hang up) on them, just simply, stop the device from ringing/vibrating and minimize the incoming call box so I can continue with my text message.

Re: Minimize incoming call without ignoring the call.

Basically like non-smart phones ring and you push a side button to silence the call, but not ignore/hang-up the call (which would make it auto go to voicemail). So far I have no found a way to do this easily (okay, or at all) with PPCs. I would like to know this too. I push the power button, but it turns back on and rings on the next "ring" for that call.

So are you planning on answering the call or something?

you can make the phone shut up by scrolling on the scroll wheel. I think it stays on the screen though.

Re: Minimize incoming call without ignoring the call.

I understand what he is getting at... he wants to be able to ignore the call, but at the same time not send them to voicemail.

Thats pretty much how I understand it too. Basically you want to ignore the call but not send them right to voicemail as if your ignoring the call, You want them to still hear all the rings before it goes to VM. I hate when someone sends me right to voicemail.

Re: Minimize incoming call without ignoring the call.

yea what u guys r sayin is what he's tryna get at. he wants to ignore the call w/o sending em to voicemail but what he's lookikn for is a way to get the call pop-up box that displays who's callin n there number to be minimized somehow so he can finish what he was currently doing before the call came in then call them back but do so without having to hit ignore.I think it would be interesting if someone could figure something like this out I've wondered if there was a way to do so myself
