eBay and warrantys

So...my talk button completely stopped working today...I think it was because of a small drop...
I tried to hard reset it and still no green button.
So...HTC gives us a 1 year warranty right? How would I go about getting it?

I bought the phone from ebay new...how does that work?

Re: eBay and warrantys

i believe the warranty is only for manuf. defects..
physical abuse, accidents and such, would be handled under the extended insurance plan..
doesnt matter where you bought it, just take it into a store and see what they say.

Re: eBay and warrantys

Best bet is to take it to a store unless you want to wait weeks via the warranty.

Re: eBay and warrantys

Most likely you can get a phone at the store with no problems. Mine had a ding in the screen and they gave me a brand new one in the box.
