HTC Home Plugin Vibrating Problems

Well I'm currently running No2Chem's nueROM 2.0 build 5060... This is my first custom ROM and I'm VERY pleased with the improvements that it made, I was very unhappy with my Mogul until No2Chem addressed all of my issues!

My problem started occurring ever since I installed the HTC Home Plugin... Before installation of this plugin, my audio settings were set to ring on incoming calls and vibrate on text messages... With this plugin, my phone rings on incoming calls but there is no vibration on incoming text messages...

I double checked the Sounds & Notifications options under the Settings menu but they were set correctly... Is HTC Home Plugin blocking my Mogul from vibrating?

*Edit* - My Mogul vibrates on the 'Text Messge Sent' box that comes up when I send my text messages... It's always done this so this is normal but why can't it vibrate on incoming text messages?

Re: HTC Home Plugin Vibrating Problems

Anyone else experiencing this problem or is it just me? I know lot's of people here run the HTC Home Plugin...

If you do use the home plugin, does your phone vibrate when you receive text messgages?

Re: HTC Home Plugin Vibrating Problems

I just flashed that rom today to my phone. I am going to install the today screen plug in...I'll come back and let you know if I have the same or any issues at all after I have tested it out a little. What version of the Home plugin are you using?

Re: HTC Home Plugin Vibrating Problems

No2Chem's nueROM 2.1 build 5060

HTC Home Plugin v2.1 (patched by N2A / Hermes brightness fix) - http://www.pocketemu.com/downloads20.html

HTC Home Customizer v1.0 Final - http://www.pocketemu.com/downloads18.html

This vibration problem happened before AND after I used the HTC Home Customizer so that's not causing any problems...

Re: HTC Home Plugin Vibrating Problems

I have an additional problem where the plugin will switch to silent for no reason, does anyone else have that?

Re: HTC Home Plugin Vibrating Problems

I agree it is not the Home Customizer causing any problems. So far I have not had any issues with the incoming text messg NOT vibrating. I am also using same Home plug in. Only up and running for 1 day so far

Re: HTC Home Plugin Vibrating Problems

I am running vetvito's clean 6.1 rom and use HTC Home version 2.1 and HHS 1.0 Final and have no issues with vibrating alerts. I use vibrate all day at work ringers/loud alerts at night, and have not had one problem.

Re: HTC Home Plugin Vibrating Problems

OT:

Aye is there anyway to cut off the song/vibrate midway when recievin a text?
Cuz I'll get a text and it'll vibrate and the music will play with no way to cut it off without letting it play out.
