Why is my Mogul so slow, What can I do to make is faster

I think it is because I have to much crap going on for no reason. My phone was also doing the memory loss that others were complaining about. 33.18MB of program (RAM) memory in use. I only have these files in my startup folder.

VistaHida Battery Gauge
poutlook
dciNoBar

Would having a bunch of themes and programs installed slow down my Mogul, even though I am not using them?

i usually do a soft reset once a day (before bed), to clear up any nonsense.
pick up a program like MemMaid - to manage your memory and other items.
On average you should have available free memory between 10-17 MB.
also check to make sure the programs you are finsihed using are truly 'closed'..
