Spb Pocket Plus 4.0.2 Frozen Battery Indicator

Hi All,
I just installed no2chems' 5060 ROM and manually installed Spb Pocket Plus version 4.0.2 when I noticed that the battery indicator icon on the Today screen tab was stuck/frozen/hung, whatever you want to call it. It was not refreshing to the real-time battery status. Also, if I would plug in the phone for charging it wouldn't recognize that it was charging. The icon in the top taskbar menu worked perfectly.

After many hours of research I found a relationship between the battery icon on the start menu bar (small icon, small line, or large line) and the battery icon on the Today screen tab. I found that if the small icon exists on the Start Menu bar, then the Pocket Plus icon in the Today screen tab stops functioning.

To resolve this issue all you need to do is go into P+ options and uncheck the Taskbar Battery Indicator option from the list of features. Then soft-reset. As long as the taskbar battery icon is not enabled the Today tab battery icon will refresh properly.

Still doesn't work for me, my battery status still freezes even with the taskbar battery indicator off.

Re: Spb Pocket Plus 4.0.2 Frozen Battery Indicator

I don't know guys, for me it took a couple reboots with the Battery Indicator unchecked before the Today plugin icon started working properly. But eventually it worked. As long as the Battery Indicator was not checked in the options menu.

Re: Spb Pocket Plus 4.0.2 Frozen Battery Indicator

I'm using DcD's 3.0.4 and I DO NOT have this problem...I'm using Spb mobile shell"s battery indicator and Spb pocket plus' battery indicator as well as the taskbar indicator, and for good measure I have the HTC homeplug battery indicator...over kill I know but each indicator serves its own purpose...anyway they all work with only about a half second delay between them...
