If you're using Opera Mini 4.0, no you're stuck with the white board screen for text input. If you're using 4.1 go into settings and enable direct input.

the thing is though...Opera Mobile works with youtube and Opera Mini doesnt. Unless there is something out there that supports it that i dont know about, also you can't save images or email links like you can with Opera Mobile. One other thing once you swith to landscape mode it's opposite of the way your keyboard slides out. My overall eval- as far as features and functionality Opera wins habds down. But as far as speed and less bugs go Opera Mini wins.
