Re: Assiging downloaded ringtones

Go into settings where ringtones are you should see new ringtone as default. You can change ringtones there.
Settings>Phone>Ringtones.

Re: Assiging downloaded ringtones

Trag, this is what you do, you copy what ever audio file you want and go to File Explorer then you select My Device, then click on the folder Windows, then you paste the music file here under this directory and go back to your settings, then check sounds & notifications, then click on notifications and as you select different "events" like voice mail and text messaging as you scroll through the sounds you will see whatever sound files that you copied to the windows directory in addition to the factory sounds on there. There you go, hope I explained it well enough!

Yes Smassele is correct, the file has to be copied to the windows directory, it does not have to be in wav format just moved to the windows directory..

Let me ask you this. If they do what u tell them in my case i put a song as a voicemail but rather then playing 5-10sec. it played the whole 4mins. Will this happen or does it know to stop in a short time like the oem sounds.
