OMG i locked my phone

i locked my phone and i didn't want to do a hard reset on my phone is there a way to unlock it with out doing so thanks for your help

what do you mean you locked it?? is it froze????? have you tried a soft reset??? also have you tried taking the battery out of the phone for 10 or so seconds and than power back up and see what that does?

i can't remember the password i just put in now i'm locked out my phone

unless someone can find a way to change/modify it through registry... i think its going to be hard reset time buddy. i dunno. i always wondered if lock passwords were stored somone in the phone registry. any ideas anyone?

Take the battery out of your phone
Sync it to the PC
Hold the on/off button
Then slap urself for not remembering your password

than i will have to say a hard reset will be the only thing that you can do and all.... sorry bro but try to type things in that are common passwords that you might use numerical wise like address birthdays last digits of phone number etc.

i think it's stored under HKCU\ControlPanel\Owner, but it's stored as a hex key, so you can't simply just see it..
at least, this is where i can find my owner name, email and password hint.....

This got me thinking, I wonder if the device Autoruns files off the SD card while locked. If so, then a program that clears the key could be executed simply by inserting the SD card into the device.
