Dialer #1 Button *Post Skin fix*
Hello Gang! I did a ton of searching for the fix but it wasn’t that it wasn’t out there but I was too fat fingered to find it. After the update to WM6.1 from the DCD kitchen and with a friends update to WM 6.1 with the DCD kitchen we found that the #1 button on the dialer (mogul big button as well) was being confused with the voice mail and or other images. I don’t believe this is a DCD issue but a WM6.1 issue but if anyone has any info on this I would love to really know the answer. *DCD Kitchen* Rocks I have nothing bad with this kitchen only awesome things to say about it! Thanks to XDA for the quick and easy fix. / Thanks PPC Geeks for the awesome support, awesome community and challenging the technology! Link: Dialer #1 Button *Post Skin Fix* Fix: edit the reg: HKCU\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\CDMA, Set EnableVoicemailIcon = 0 then soft reset. I only post this here so if others are having the issue it will come up in the search a bit easier. Phone: Sprint Mogul 6800 / WM 6.1 -MaliceInside |

if you havent done so already this should be copied over to the main registry/cab thread (linked below) so that it wont get lost in the future.

Re: Dialer #1 Button *Post Skin fix*
i think it depends more on the particular dialers that you install... it should not alter the default settings when moving from wm6 to 6.1

This is why we encourage everyone to post all regedits to one of the main regedit threads... the same thing can be posted 30 times and yet noone will know where to find it.

Re: Dialer #1 Button *Post Skin fix*
Hey guys, I navigated to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\CDMA, but I don't see a key called EnableVoicemailIcon. Do I need to create one with a DWORD value of 0? Thanks! |
