GPS keeps putting me in North Carolina

Hello-

I recently went to DCD's 3.0.1 release, and GPS keeps putting me in North Carolina, with both Google and Live Search. I'm located in New Jersey.

Am I doing something wrong? It seems adamant about North Carolina...

Thanks.

-TM

Re: GPS keeps putting me in North Carolina

Figured it out...I had set my time zone wrong (-6 instead of -5). As soon as I set it correctly, GPS works perfectly.

Re: GPS keeps putting me in North Carolina

And now the problem is back. I'm either in Georgia, North Carolina, or the west coast of Africa.

This is really disappointing. :/ Am I the only one having problems with GPS on an xv6800?

off the west coast of Africa is the default position: on the prime meridian and equator. I used to get that alot when it couldnt get a fix on 3.16

This happened to me the first time I used DCD's rom....it actually took about 20 mins for it to find my actual location the very first time I used it...but after that initial wait...it loads up almost in seconds... The other thing I do when it doesn't connect right away, is I click "USE GPS" to uncheck it...Google maps will freeze for a few seconds, then when it clears up I click "USE GPS" again and then I move the screen around to force Google maps to resend the request for a data connection...

Hope it helps...
