Push Email on XV6800

I just got the XV6800 and I'm having trouble getting push email through my exchange server at work. The problem is the "as item arrives" option is not available in the scheduling options. I called VZ customer support and all of their screen shots show the "as items arrive" option. They don't understand why I don't have it. My first two options are "manually" and "every 5 minutes". I had this same issue with my Motorola Q a long time ago, but this was corrected by a software release. This phone should already have this functionality. Does anyone have any ideas on what might by causing this?
