problem with WM6.1 and activesync

Ok, first off I've always had trouble connecting with active sync when the "enable advance network settings" option was checked under usb-to-pc connection but once I disable the setting everything works fine for me. Now come the problem. wm 6.1 seems to be giving the same exact issue except there is no usb-to-pc option within the connection tab. It's like they enabled the advance networking but not give you an option to turn it off. Does any one else have this issue? Is there a registry key somewhere that enables/disable this setting?

At minimum, can someone tell me some keywords that I can use to research my problem on google. I tried searching the usual "wm 6.1 usb-to-pc" windows mobile 6.1 "advance networking"... etc and no useful results ever show up that even is related to the issue I'm having.

On wm6.1 it's no longer under the connections it's now under settings - system and probably is the last entry

Thank you for this thread!!! OMG I was ready to kill my Touch last night and I read this at work and happy to report that after trying to sync 100x, changing that setting was all I needed
