Titan doesn't see my storage card!!

Hi all,

I just got my first windows mobile phone TODAY so maybe I'm missing something really simple here. I've searched the forums here and haven't seen anything obvious...

I've got a titan and I put my 1.0 gb sandisk microSD card into it, and the phone doesn't see or recognise it at all in file explorer or anything else. It might as well not even be in there. When I go to settings>system>memory>storage card tab, it says a storage card is not installed... when it is plugged in.

I've had this card in my motorola E815 for the past year or so. Also I just double checked and the card still works in the motorola. I'm wondering if it's a formatting issue? The only thing is, if the phone doesn't see the card at all, how do I tell it to reformat the card? I should say here that I have no idea how to format a microSD card.

The other thing that confuses me is that I have put the same card into a computer before and windows was able to see it and read the files just fine. (I don't have the proper equipment to do that now or I would try it.) So if it's not a formatiing problem, is there a setting somewhere that turns the card reader on and off?

The only other thing I can think is that I just got a lemon on eBay. That would be BAD NEWS! :P

anyway, if anyone has any ideas I'd really really appreciate hearing them.
Thanks!

Tony

Re: Titan doesn't see my storage card!!

My friend have same problem.
He has Nokia 6300 with 1GB.
He told me that he's phone can't recognize he's flash card.
I insert to my Titan, but my PPC can't recognize it too.
I think that flash card is broken.
He told me that he remove he's flash card without turning off Nokia 6300.
(If it was N73 or 3250)(There have save remove mode)(You can remove cards without turning off your phone)

An other was is to re-format to FAT32 via CardReader in BigBrother(PC)

I did same problem with yours but it happen on my Apache. I really have no idea why this this is possibly happen... My miniSD is Kingston 2Gb.
I already hard reset but it did not solve the problem, I try to re-insert the card into slot but it still won't work.

I really appreciate if anybody would give me a suggestion to solve this problem....

Re: Titan doesn't see my storage card!!

I had the same problem. I just rebooted my phone, not a hard reset. It worked fine after that. Try this and see what happens. If not, then it may be a problem with your card.
