opera mini freezes my mogul after new rom update

I updated to new rom a day ago and after downloading opera mini 4 high memory Its been freezing my phone after a few page downloads .this never happened with the old rom. anybody else have this issue ,any sugestions please help

I had the same problem with the "leaked" ROM as well as with the current official ROM. Opera Mini will work fine if you run it with the JBed midlet manager.

ive always had problems with opera mini. it would work for a couple of minutes then freeze. ill wait for my invite for skyfire until then im stuck with crappy old PIE

I agree the first thing that I did was get a better JAVA program. Use Jbed as listed above. It gives no problems.

Sorry if this seems dumb, but are you opening Opera Mini though the JBed version of Java?

same here. no matter which jbed I use it freezes on me. using netfront until a better browser comes out. my question is does opera know of this issue?

Yes, actually I'm using a shortcut. This shortcut will work if Opera is installed in the first position of the applications folder within Java. You can modify the target of the shortcut to suite your needs.

im having the same issue as spyder. i updated the java using the above jbed cab but phone still freezes on me when web browsing. im using an opera mini icon to open java but how do i ensure i am opening it though the JBed version of Java?

Are you using a shortcut or opening Java and going to applications? If you are using a shortcut check the properties of the shortcut and make sure the target is \windows\jbed.exe" -run s1_ or something similar. If you are opening it through Java. After opening the main Java application click on menu and then about. Your screen should say something about Jbed.
