micro sd card question

Hey Guys im new to this whole phone thingy, but what size sd card can i upgrade to? Kingston.com tells me i can upgrade to a 8gig card is this true? I would like to watch a movie while im flying on business. so 2gigs is not enough if you know what i mean.

Man great service on this site.Thanx alot Jemmrich, I called Sprint and was told that it would be dangerous if i did tried putting that micro sd hc card in my phone. so obviously they dont know what there talking about huh?

No, they're morons. I have been running an 8GB MicroSDHC for almost 2 months on mine, no problem. The new ROM supports it natively as well. Also, you don't need a large SD card to watch movies. There are tons of DVD-to-compressed video programs out there for mobile devices. They can turn a 5GB in 1GB movie. Remeber, you don't need all of the extras and whatnot, plus, our phones are low res anyways, so a decrease in res = a massive decrease in size of the file.

no they dont know what they are talking about. I have a 8gb sandisk in right now and it works perfectly.

If i call Sprint tech support, I specificaly ask for level 2 Tech support. gotten great results with them! Thanx Guys for replying
