Hard Reset?! Help me out folks...

I have learned how to back up all of my files, and the hard reset has become my friend... anytime something bad comes up, just back everything up, and do a soft reset...

but is there a way to hard reset my computer? I have a dell, and i dont know where to go to find information about it...

i know this is a phone forum, but i'm jus asking can i perform a ppc function on a normal pc... and if anybody can point me in the direction that handles pc issues like this one handles ppc issues, please do...

I think most Dell's come with an inactive partition that you can use to restore your computer to it's original state.

why do you need to dump your pc?? is it a problem you can fix in safe mode??

its not moving as fast as it once was... and once i hard reset my phone, it worked better... so why not hard reset my computer so that it will go faster... and i can download all the other stuff later...

Not sure what other suggestions you would like. Doing a system restore from the hidden partition restores your PC back to its original state the day you got it.

Isn't that what you wanted, verbatim?
