Hit end key to close data connection

Is there any way to set up the end key so that it shuts down the data connection if you hold it down? The touch has this feature, it's called "long key press" but i dont see that anywhere on the mogul. Maybe theres a registry key that can be changed.

Anyone know?

Yes there is!

Disable your Flight Mode by End Key and it will then end your data session when you hold down the end key.

Here is the registry key:
Change HKCU\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\CDMA\
Change key: FlightModeSwitchByPnHEndKey to 0

this is already enabled on the alltel 6800's. This is something I missed when I switched to a sprint 6800. Great find!

my Verizon 6800 just sits there when I hold the end key. It will shut down programs, but wont shut off data or set flight mode. This is my second one, and both were that way.

My mogul (sprint) turns off radio and data when i hold down the red end call key. It has done that since stock out of box

Cool, so did mine.

We are actually talking about modifying it so that it ONLY turns off data and not everything else.
