Brightness problem! Help!

When my device is on battery power, it is stuck at the lowest brightness. If I set it to higher brightness using the control panel or spb shell, it stays at the lowest brightness. I can adjust the brightness normally when plugged in. I already tried a soft reset. Help!

What other programs are you running? Some programs like phoneAlarm override the default settings in your phone.

Re: Brightness problem! Help!

I also have SPB phone profiles, but they are not set to change the brightness. When I DO set them to change the brightness, it flashes bright and then returns to dim.

Hard to tell; I don't have a titan anymore. Apparantly this was an issue on the 6700 as well (though I personally never experienced it). If it's not the holding-down-the-power-button thing, I'd almost have to say it's likely to be some software somewhere

They never really got a resolution on this but sounded like they were heading in the direction of doing the hard reset and systematically adding software to duplicate the issue. You might follow up with the individuals from that thread. Sounds weird though. -e.

Make sure your backlight Battery Power button is not set to 10 seconds. This is different from the backlight brightness. Go to Settings/System/Backlight/Battery Power and check the settings for the backlight to turn off. When it "turns off", it will go to dim. There is also a separate tab for external power which would explain why it works fine when plugged in.
