I will be tempted no longer!! I sold my Mogul and bought the HTC Touch.
Heres what I miss and what I dont miss:
Dont Miss:
Out of memory...Please choose a program to close to free up memory
Sliding out my keyboard to text or email
The girth of the Mogul
But I sure do miss:
Wi-Fi
and...uhh...having a tactile keyboard....go figure.
I am happy with the change. I have so many program exceptions in spb pocket plus x-button that i wonder if i should just disable the x-button altogether... I LOVE never having to worry about memory. Also having flick scrolling so well intergrated in my Touch is nice. I know there are a ton of threads about which is better...blah blah blah...i just wanted to express my feelings after my change of life so plz dont flame me

I will tell you what. I have contemplated switching to a touch for a while. I even had sprint agree to do it on one of my mogul swap outs but i chickened out and told them to get me another mogul. But since I have been using the WM 6.1 custom roms with Rev A and GPS I wouldnt trade my mogul for a touch. The mogul right now is far and away Sprint's best phone IMHO.

I had 3.17 on my Mogul and LOVED GPS...Rev A is supported(?) where i live but i couldnt get speeds any faster than what i previously had. GPS killed my battery life cuz i spend way to much time being a driving hazard/reading my RSS Feeds and I with GPS on I wasnt making it to noon!!! I loved my Mogul and still would highly recommend it to anyone. I made the change not for "better" but simply for preference. (If I was still single I would have both a mogul and a touch...but i have grown fond of breathing so i dont want to give my wife any reason to stop me from doing THAT!!)

i'm really considering seeing if I can swap mine out. I still get bluetooth problems with the new firmware (it cuts in and out all the time), and I can only have one program open at a time. If I have a web browser open and a media player open it always closes out of one of them automatically. And don't even try to have anything running in the background when you use the camera...

I just wish it had more memory!!! I never use the WIFI but I think i would miss the keyboard. How well does the touch keyboard work?

I had that same wish and the Touch delivered!! the keyboard is "ok" for short messages but since I am used to a full qwerty board I hate 20 key layouts. Often times in a long message i might have several wrong words. Thats why I use SPB Full screen Keyboard. I am almost as fast with it as with my old Mogul qwerty. Check out the screen shots!!! Almost forgot...I didnt have Bluetooth problems on my Mogul but I can report that all is well for sure on Touch as far as BT. Hope this helps.

i had the touch for nearly a month. I loooooved the form factor. It felt like a real phone.

I liked the speed

i liked the bluetooth.

I did not like the lack of a keyboard

I did not like the viewing angle, if you looked at the phone at even a few degrees off center then it looks crraaapy.

I almost would have kept the touch, but i had trouble selling my mogul.


I had to pay full price for the touch 499. at a retail shop

I was then credited 250 towards the touch.

I returned the touch less than a month later, got credited back for the 499.

And the 250$ credit stayed on my acoount. Its been 3 months and i have not had to pay my cell bill yet, still have a small credit left.

The only thing that I want from Touch is.. 128MB of RAM.

Beside that, Titan is my choice hands down.
I got too many apps and tasks heavily depends on the QWERTY keyword.
Without that.. I lose more than 50% of the whole reason why I own PPC(or smartphone) in the 1st place.

And that is why I so envy Tilt..

i would switch in a heartbeat if i didnt need the keyboard, i text to damn much, like 4000 texts a month. I love my mogul dont get me wrong, but I need my KB and GPS.
