Syncing Contacts without outlook ? ALSO ROM UPDATE NEWS straight from the HTC REPS !

I know this has to be discussed on this website but I can not seem to find my answer although I have looked,

I want to back up all my contacts from my 6800 Mogul from Sprint, I do NOT have outlook on my PC, but I do use active sync, for the life of me I cant seem to find out if active sync backs up contacts without outlook but I have a feeling that it doesn't.

I want to back up my contacts, any help ?

And to thank everyone for flaming my noob type question and helping me

I was at an award ceremony for Sprint today, and some HTC regionals stopped by, and word from their mouth is first week or March, we will receive our GPS and Rev A update

My mogul CD came with a copy of Outlook 60 day trial. I think the support section of their website also has a link to download the trial.

Ya i really dont want outlook lol (I can get outlook and all of office for 20 dollars as a Sprint employee), I am wondering if there are other option better if free

To backup your contacts you can try PIMBackup or use ActiveSync on your device to sync with a free Exchange server like the service provided by mail2web.

They do use OWA (Outlook Web Access), but you don't have to install Outlook on your computer, it's all via a web interface.

My Mogul CD came with inside information on the release date of the RevA/GPS ROM.

UPDATE: I double clicked the inside info icon and this giant Sprint logo came out of the screen and smacked me in the face. Then, it laughed.

I just hope that when it does come out, it has an improved radio over 3.27. Sprint can keep the rest of the upgrade.
