Playing music from Mogul thru Cars Bluetooth? Possible?

Instead of using an FM transmitter to play my iPod in the car (horrible sound) I was wondering if it was possible to play music from my 6800 thru the bluetooth feature in my 04 Acura TL. Any ideas?

I was also considering buying a Bluetooth adapter for my iPod (normally used for BT headphones) but not sure if that is compatible with my car...

Bluetooth in the Acura may only be mono and not stereo. You may want to check the car documentation...

If you want to use an FM transmitter, get one of those Monster RadioPlay 300 with the headphone plug, Three reasons why. 1) From all the FM transmitters that I have used and are FCC compliant, it is the best one out there. 2) The package is easy open (you zip it oven along the back). This is a good thing because 3) If you hang on to the package and the slip and most places will let you take it back within a month.

this would be an option if it wasn't for my car's head unit...the dash won't accommodate this kind of deck without crazy mods

i'm trying to stay away from FM transmitters because i'm essentially listening to the radio and i am my own DJ...i still have to deal with static. Especially when my rear windshield defroster is on because it interferes with the radio signal creating MORE static.
i'm also trying to avoid the DICE connector for more $$

Several Pioneer stereos do this well. I have an AVIC-D3 and it rules.

I am thinking about buying a bluetooth enabled stereo for my car. Is it possible to control the ppc via the radio? And by this i mean like next previous pause play etc. Also once the bt is setup does your car stereo just pick up your phone once it is in range or what?

Speaking just for the AVIC-D3 (with BT module) that I have, you can control the PPC from the radio. You have to open WMP (or whatever) and start the music playing, but after that, you can use the radio's touch screen to rewind, fast-forward, skip to next, go back, pause, play, stop, etc.

Yes, for cell phone and music playback connectivity. My 6800 rarely leaves my pocket. Keep in mind I am using a custom 6.1 ROM and Jetware. The AVIC-D3 wouldn't connect right without Jetware.

Yes, very high quality, no stuttering or skipping.

Add in the fact that the AVIC does GPS navigation, plays DVDs, has external inputs, and has a backup camera, it's a very cool rig to have.
