Modem NAI?

Whats up guys
Back in the day on my a900, before I tethered it to my laptop I disabled modem NAI so sprint didn't know I was tethering.

Does something like this have to been done so sprint doesn't know im tethering? I'm using wmwifirouter right now so it would suck if all of this got charged.

I have unlimited vision plan.

Thanks
Joe

Yes, you should do a regedit. HKLM > Software > OEM >WModem. There are 3 or 4 values under WModem. Set the value of each to zero, then do a soft reset. Also, some folks have mentioned deleting the reg entry for rilphone.dll. I have not done so, and have had no problem the last few months, but YMMV, so it might be a good idea to search the forums about the rilphone.dll regedit to see if you need to make this change for yourself.

I did all of the above and haven't had any problems with my mogul using USBmodem. I would rather err on the side of safety, you know?
