optimum micro sd size to run Tomtom from?

I'm about to buy a micro SD card for my mogul so I can install Tomtom nav software on it. I'd of course like to have a 4 gig card so I can fill whatever's left with music and such, but are there benefits to running a smaller 2 gig card when running map software from it? I've heard in some reviews where using a 4 gig poor quality micro SD card vs a sandisk 2 gig card made a huge difference in performance (with the smaller card processing inter-state routes much faster)

I have TomTom installed on my Sandisk 4GB microsd with no problems. It runs perfectly fine and I use it quite a bit. My 8GB microsd should be delivered any day now and I'll move everything to that and see how it works.

Not sure about TomTom, but with iGuidance you can load certain maps only, but still you I wouldn't go with anything smaller than a 2GB. 4 or 8gb is preferred imo.

I have a 2GB card and I had to sacrifice music/movie space for GPS maps(90% used by iNAV.. no biggie.. but I plan on getting an 8GB. I would recommend 4GB or more.

TomTom is a pay program. But it can be HAD from shady sources. Torrents are your friends.
