Canada/Bell New Rom(s) Questions

I was wondering if it would make sense for me, as a Bell client in Alberta, Canada to flash my 6800 with the new rom, or if it would not work as it is a Sprint rom. As well, even if it would work, does the GPS work outside of the US? And thirdly, how much data transfer does the GPS use, as Bell does not offer unlimited data transfer and you max out at 1 gig/month for $100.Thanks for any advice.

So has anyone outside of the lower 48 tested the GPS?

I took the plunge and flashed 2 days ago, so I thought I would post here some info in case other Bell users run into issues.

If you can't make/receive calls after, then you will have to reprogram your MSL and MDIN. To do this, go to your phone keypad and dial ##441005# and hit send. Then a page will come up and you can edit these numbers. They should be your cell phone number, including area code. Then hit OK and save when prompted.

GPS works great, I'm literally in the middle of nowhere in Northern Alberta and I pick up 5 sats quickly and easy, and GoogleMaps shows my location within a couple of feet.
