Cyberon Voice Speed dial not activated by BT headset

Using DCD's 1.6.10 Rom, Jabra BT350 headset, Radio 2.13 now, same problem with Radio 1.47 also. i've had this problem with other Roms too. I've noticed these roms dont have the voice dial switch like the stock rom did, not sure if its related to that or not. Just did a hard reset and with just Cyberon Voice Speed dial installed I have this problem. I hit the button on the BT headset and it opens the dialer instead of activating the voice speed dial app. any info would be appreciated. thanks.

I had your issue and I really believe it's software related because after a hard reset the bluetooth button started working (activating the native speed dial) again. I've been added apps back in one at a time and so far I'm still okay. I'm guessing DCD's rom may contain software or a registry hack that disables it. I'm not familiar with that rom however so I could be way off.

well...if its software related it would have to be the Cyberon voice speed dial software i've been using then, as i've tried it with 3 diff roms now, sometimes it would work, sometimes not. trying to find the factory cab now for it...

I have this problem also. I installed MVC and then uninstalled it and I speculate that that is what caused this problem.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I speculate that it's probably some registry setting
that MVC clobbers and doesn't un-clobber when you uninstall MVC.

I'm in the exact same situation as you. Hope you/we find the answer, as I'd holding out on a hard reset and reinstallation until the new (official) ROM is posted.

If someone had the default registry settings and would export and post them, it would probably restore things to pre-MVC times and hopefully work.

I don't have that registry anymore. I quit using the Cyberon or any voice command shortly after I posted that and have flashed a lot of custom roms since then without it.

All I did to get Cody that info was to flash a stock rom and enabled the Cyberon voice command. I then exported the registry.

Thanks for the answer/update Stroths. Hopefully someone with an unmodified stock ROM will export the appropriate registry values to the thread.

May have found a fix here. This is without having to do a hard reset.
Try installing this .cab file: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...7&postcount=11
If the version of CVSD is not the newest patched one, try downloading and installing this afterwards: http://www.cyberon.com.tw/Technical3.php
Still testing but seems to be working for my Mogul.
NOTE--May need to remake voice tags, as mine seem to have been erased.
