is mogul worth it?

I currently have a defective 6700 and through alot of talking I got sprint to credit my account for around $600 So I can go to any store and buy what I want. I want the mogul i think but I was wondering if its worth it, or is there something else "comming soon" that would be worth waiting for. thanks

You know what at first I hated my mogul and almost went back to Treo's, but over time I find it way more useful then a treo. I guess its up to you though cause there are problems with the mogul and you could go with the new "touch" with increased system memory and a nicer GUI. However, NO REV-A and no keyboard makes it a useless device for me.

My 6700 died after a year of loyal service. Sprint replaced it with a brand new Mogul and so far I love it. If you need a keyboard like I do, the the Mogul is perfect, if not then the Touch might be better. If you are going to wait for the "holy grail" of ppc's then you will never get a new phone because there is always something better in the wings. If you are looking for a vote, then I vote Mogul.

And no wifi.

The mogul is currently the top of the heap for Sprint. Wait a bit and see if they get the one after the touch, which is more mogul-like (with wifi, reva, and with touch's ram - dunno if it has a keyboard) or get a mogul.

They just swapped my broken 6700 for a refurb mogul last month - $50... I like the mogul, but it does like to be babied memory-wise, and it appreciates a soft reset every few days. Like fiber, keeps it regular ;)

thanks i appreciate your feedback. the only reason I wouldn't like the touch is the interface. I like the "windows" way of things and the touch seemed like it just used windows apps not windows itself. plus I too like the keyboard. I guess Ill go ad get the mogul tommorow.(or as soon as this stupid billing update is done) whatever it is. well thanks again

Well they both run the same OS and I believe the Touch interface is optional, so they both basically use Windows the same way. This is half the reason some Mogul users try to port the Touch interface over to the Mogul. It's basically the same thing with an addon.

Wifi and keyboard would be the issue (unless you don't mind the half keyboard of the Touch Dual).

Me personally, I can live without the Wifi....but I HAVE to have a real keyboard.
