you will be able to store musak on it and not have to have a mp3 player also. mine holds 4300 songs + album art and still has 400 MB free for other stuff. the songs are all at 64 kbps wma and sound nice to me. I could have went down further to 40 kbps mp3 (which also sounds fine to me on a phone imo), but the program i have that does that doesn't move the album art over too like WMP does.
