Slide Out Keyboard Question
 

I was wondering if there is a way to wake up the phone by simply sliding out the keyboard? Thanks

this works on the apache is this not a available feature on the mogul?

No, it is annoying as hell.

i'd rather not have the phone turn on when i open it... i like to play with it by sliding it!

However, it seems that when i turn it on right after I open and close it, it rotates the screen...

I posted the same question on XDA a few weeks ago, with no success. If someone knows of (or can create) a hack or program that would make this happen, I'd be in heaven.

Ya that does seem rather ODD it doesn't do this automatically... I mean, why would you open the keyboard if you didn't intend on using the device? What logic is there for keeping it off???? Other than playing with it as a nervous twitch.. :P

*bump* Maybe the mogule just needs some of the code from the Apache ported over?
