Is there a way to check BT connection?

Would like the following scenario, at least until my phone knows where it is because of the GPS that's coming in a few days... ;-)

Bluetooth is typically disabled, but every 5 minutes comes on, checks to see if it can pair with my PC. If it can, the bluetooth stays enabled and my phone begins syncing via the bluetooth link. If it can't pair when it tries every 5 minutes, it just goes about its business until the next 5 minute interval is up....

I know at least part of this can be done with Mortscript...what I can't seem to come up with is how to make it attempt to pair or connect to my PC.

What PPCGeek can answer that for me?

Thanks!

This over the day would kill the phone if u ask me, ur talking 288 connection attempts per 24 hr period, why not just turn it on when you are near the pc?

Re: 'killing' the phone, that may be, but.......

The point here is automation. Anything that I have to do regularly and repeatedly should be able to be done by the technology in my life. In my opinion (an old, grey-haired opinion, at that), I should be able to introduce my Mogul (or later) to my PC, say "You guys should talk", and then rightfully expect them to do so. I want my Mogul to always be synced with my PC, without requiring me to do the syncing. That is NOT too much to ask.
