Mouse On Mogul..
I feel as if this has already been posted before but I can not seem to find the thread. Anyways. I am on my laptop and I looked over at my phone and I saw the mouse pointer on the screen and as I moved my mouse it moved on the phone and it even did the slide2unlock.. anyone know why/how and what is going on with that? it's a wireless mouse by the way

Something to do with the IR beams?
Disable beams on the phone if you don't use it. It just drains battery anyways. |
I thought I had beams disabled, but I didn't.. So I guess that is good. But, I was just curious to why or if anyone cares haha.
|
Well I would imagine it has something to do with the Mogul's beam receives accepting the frequencies from the wireless mouse.
|
Probably... it sure was interesting though.. It was only for a little bit and was very spotty with it how it worked.

Infra red light is very ubiquitous, so interference is VERY easy. Whatever acceptable range the Mogul likes was being picked up at least on occasion from whatever the mouse was sending out.
Perhaps the range the Mogul accepts is fairly broad and that's why interference occurred. I don't really know the specifics on the Mogul IR. |
Bluetooth?
Is your mouse connected via Bluetooth to you PC? I use a ThinkOutside BT mouse with my Mogul and it works great! Use the same mouse with my Dell notebook when I travel.

if you have mobiler installed and are connected via active sync, it does that if you scrol over to the left, basically makes your phone a second (or third display), When you connect to mobiler it then shows the screen on your computer.
