Titan Charging Car Mount

I spent a little more and got this one:

which adds an amplified speaker and mic for handsfree use. I like it a lot, except for one maddening design flaw (not sure if the 4300 does the same thing)... if you are not REAL careful when you slide the phone into the mount, it will hit the WiFi switch and turn it on. Other than that, it's a great kit.

Do you find that people complain of echoing when using the external mic?

Maybe my car is loud, but I also find the speaker not always sufficient.

I bought the first one the other day. Once I get it (and my car lol) I'll let you know how it works. All I need now is a cheap fm transmitter.

I had that problem initially, but I found that the mic is pretty directional. Place it so that it's pointing away from the cradle and it makes a big difference.

I've found the speaker volume to be, well, sufficient. A huge improvement over the (completely unusable in a car IMHO) speakerphone that is built into the phone.

60 bucks for a mount is near criminal I think but I bought it anyway. I should have it next week I assume, I'll post my thoughts once I get around to putting it in my car.
