Anyone have any suggestions for just a mount? I already have a charging+stereo hookup solution, so I just need the mount.

Re: Titan Charging Car Mount

I am in the market for a new mount. I am currently using the same mount i used with my 6700 but the power connection is wore out found here:

http://www.gomadic.com/audiovox-ppc-...ne-holder.html

Its a rigid cigarrette lighter type. The flexible ones vibrated too much but this one works perfect. Plus it is powered and can easily be combined with a power/stereo adapter for my car stereo line in. Ive had this two years and would like to try something else that is similar.

Re: Titan Charging Car Mount

ProClip for teh win!
Mind you, it's like $70, but it'll fit your device and your vehicle almost perfectly.
i say almost because the Geo Prizm mount didn't play nice with my interior
but if you want only the mount with no plugs or other foo foo stuff, yeah, +1 for proclip.
http://www.proclipusa.com/
I'm using one in the semi i drive, and i wouldn't work a day without it.
solid mount, non-intrusive, and it doesn't clog any vents or anything.
but, again, to get exactly what you want, it's going to cost you.

Re: Titan Charging Car Mount

Just run to your local franchise auto parts store - like AutoZone - which is what I did. They usually have a couple universal type mounts. I piced up a suction cup mount, but they have a dash and ventilation mount as well. 12 bucks and it works great. Its very adjustable so you can position the section that closes and it won't hit any buttons or switches on the phone.

I bought one myself and the usb port did fall into the device but about 10 minutes later and a bit of JB weld and i don't think it will ever move again. Though if you think about it you could buy 6 of them for the price of the sedio one.

Re: Titan Charging Car Mount

When I bought mine, I plugged it in as it was to see if it worked. It made a sizzling noise. Good thing I didn't plan to use it as is.
