Question Hard Reset Often?

Allright I want to know if I'm just overworking my Titan or if this is a standard problem for other power users (which I would assume most people who read this board are.)

I found myself having to hard reset my titan once a week at least because it becomes too sluggish and I start experiencing problems. Examples would be caller id not poping up, screens freezing, etc.

When I got my device I did a ton of installing applications, removing them, etc. Now it's been a few months and for the most part I have a set list of programs I use that are stable and I don't do very much uninstalling.

Here is my list of apps
- PointUI (I still have these issues when I use a program like HTC Home)
- PocketCM
- Threaded SMS
- PPCGeeks Battery & Performance CAB
- S2U2 V0.98

Is anyone else having issues like these or am I just doing too much with my ppc?

i am running more than those you have listed. however i switched to random access for the contacts and pocketcm takes up alot of memory (but looks really nice). I am also not running S2U2 due to other problems i have read about and have not found a need for it yet.

For the perforamnce and batt tweaks i did the reg edits instead. I am also running cube, home, cash organizer, reg edit program, total commander, oxios, tcpmp, and others with little to no problems.

hope that helps

I havent hard reset in the 4 months i've had my phone other than doing the 2.17 Sprint Rom update, and like scoobdude I have a lot more than that installed. I use my phone heavily for e-mail, text and calls, I watch video on Vtap, use HTC Audio manager and bluetooth ALOT. I synch/charge every evening with active sync usb, I use all 3 alarm settings, I have custom startup GIF and welcomehead screen. ( I also use wifi when near a hotspot)
I usually leave my house by 6:30 AM and its still over 75% battery life at 6pm (I usually soft reset at this point)
wkTask
S2U2 with animated GIF screen
HTC Home w/HHC Customizer
dcinobar (to clear the bottom taskbar, I like the look without it)
HTC Random access
HTC Album
FtouchFlo
codyppc threaded SMS
Slick IM
200+ ringtones (installed on mem card)
Live search
and i hand entered most of the PPCGeeks reg hacks for speed and battery, video & cam
Soduko, freecell, monopoly
Nillsco Flashlight (very handy!)

I have tons of stuff installed and never have to hard reset. I have tons and tons of stuff installed. I have only hard rest for ROM upgrades and just playing around but using spite backup makes hard resets not do much since it is identical before and after the reset anyway.

I hard reset typically every other week.

I carried the 6700 and now the 6800, and I have yet to figure out what type of setup I prefer. I am consistently finding new programs that I want to test drive and once I find out how I wanna roll, I reset and start over....and then the vicious cycle starts over.
