If you move often, check your Spint BILL!!

I recently moved in the last year or so and i checked my charges on my phone which i have not done in a long time... obviously. They were still charging me tax, sales tax, 911 fees and city tax from my old residence + where im living now! They corrected the situation and credited me almost 90$.

For all you people out there that hardly look at your bill, take a look once and a while.

with that, i'll be sure to be aware of... thanks, and good lookin' out.

Wow, I wonder where has the lowest regulatory fees.

johnnychimpo 01-19-2008 11:01 PM

definantly not Virginia. You have to pay like 5 things including city tax. They rape you from every angle.

Somebody online did a post (not ppcgeeks) that listed the charges for a couple of cities. May have been a Business Week report or something.

Found a link that is dated - http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/...ne-taxes_x.htm

las vegas has the lowest fees. its like 2%.

you can always "move" to las vegas if you pay online.... they charge taxes based off your billing address not the area code.

All I need is a "drop" address in Nevada, then sign up for e-billing. I already pay on-line. Anyone in Nevada who would be willing for me to "move" there?

Here's an interesting article.

For the record: I'm not in any way saying whether you should or should not do this and this is for informational purposes only.... Nice map too at the bottom. :)
