pie, google maps, and other data problems when traveling

It usually happens as soon as I start driving and continues even after I'm at my new location. When I get there, sometimes it lasts for 5 minutes, sometimes for 20. Then sometimes it doesn't happen at all.

Pie acts like it's loading but then get's stuck. Google maps program does the same thing. Picsel also won't work. BUT opera will load up any page at normally fast speeds just fine! I need to be able to access google maps when I pull over on my bike, but I don't have time to wait 20 minutes.

What in the world is causing those other programs to loose their connection?

sounds a lot like the issuses many of us had. I think its a network issue.

Just either soft reset the phone, or force a disconnect of the networking by clicking the data icon in the connections manager.
