The ringtone type is set as "Vibrate and Ring" in the phone settings, still it does not vibrate.

Also, when resetting the device, there used to be a short vibrate when switching on. This vibration is not coming now.

please help..

mine recently stopped vibrating with phonealarm, I ended up downgrading to 1.62 from 1.64 and it fixed my issue. Does your phone vibrate when it first powers on? If so, maybe its time for a hard reset, if not, sounds like hardware....

I had the same problem. The vibrate would not work at all.

I tried a hard reset and even tried downgrading the ROM (happened around the time I updated). It still was bad, ended up emailing Sprint. After a long fight they agreed to credit me for getting a new phone (since they charge $55 for a warranty exchange without insurance). I got a new (I think?) Mogul. I even checked the life timer and it only had 3 hours on it.

I had one of those early telesales Moguls. I don't know if that makes a difference but they gave me a new one and it's fine. My old Mogul would develop a new problem every month!
