Duplicate Text Messages

For some reason my phone seems to keep sending duplicate text messages. My guess is it might be my palm threaded app. but, its not an everytime thing. It randomly sends duplicates, there seems to be no rhyme or reason. Does anyone know why or how to stop it?

rstcso also had this issue and was using the Palm Threaded SMS and we pinned it down to closeing(not minimizing) the application prior to the application to finishing sending the message. He was using AEButton plus to close it. It also killed the suggestions. See Multiltiple Messages and more... SOLVED!. This may not be the cause, but this is what we found.

ah..... well, that definitely sounds like it could be true.. I do always close it directly afterwards.. I'll give the ok button or "end" button a try instead. Thanks alot for the help!

Yeah I always hit the red end key to minimize it. I'm using Wisbar so that the messaging app. doesn't show up in the taskbar

Darkness speaks the truth. Since I started using the end key (red end-call-when-using-the-phone button), I've not had a single issue. I even went an entire week without doing a soft reset on my phone recently without a problem. Then I got worried and did a reset. Some can't seem to go an entire week without doing a hard reset and rebuilding their phone. Hope your problems end like mine did.
