Conduits Pocket Player will automatically switch off your screen if you want it to and will continue playing. Its also WAY better than WMP.

I don't have a Titan (plan on getting one some time soon), but has anything changed in WMP from the Apache (from WM5 to WM6)? If not, you don't need any special apps to turn off the screen and keep the music going, WMP has the option built right in. It is in the button options for WMP. To start it doesn't have a button assigned to it, so it won't do it out of the box. Once you set it, though it works perfectly. I usually set it to the space bar on the slide out keyboard, so all I have to do is slide it out a little hit the space and slide it back in. You can of course use any button you like, that WMP recognizes.

Re: had no idea this thing came with headphones...
TCPMP, one of the most popular players, can do it without any added software. From the top of my head, go to setting > key binds > button (turn screen off) > bind to comm port (or something else). I tap comm port to turn screen off. the only way to turn it back is with power button like normal wake from sleep. It's great.
btw the "headphones" with mac from sprint suck badly. I get tons of distortion when I try to turn it up (using preamp in equalizer since volume already maxed out). I don't have an adapter yet so I can't test other headphones. *edit* I realized my noob mistake. The volume control on the sprint head phone was turned down low. They get loud enough but still stink compared to budget headphones like the highly recognized jvc marshmallows Last edited by bob13bob; 06-24-2008 at 06:26 PM. |

I didn't like the OEM buds. I bought the Jabra BT3030 and a set of Sony rubber cushioned earbuds.. and the ABSOLUTELY ROCK!!!

Yeah, I started using my Mogul headphones when my mp3 player was lost. Now I listen to streaming radio on the shuttle to work every day. It's nice because I don't have to load up my card with music, just bookmarks.
