need help getting internet sharing to work
 

can't use search feature since im on my phone and don't see it at top. Im having trouble getting internet sharing to work. Can someone plz posts the steps for me plz?

This is a note that I keep on my phone - came from a guy who posted on pdaphonehome about 8 months ago:

Just in case anyone is having issues with the New internet sharing apps on ur laptops......this is what i figured out that works for me. I'v tried it approx. 20 or so times and has worked flawlessly.

first thing u need to do is open activesyc and go to connections and disable usb connections. [Also disable your Bluetooth radio].

NOW:

here is how u use internet sharing..............open up the internet sharing app.

click on connect...........u should then see the pop up window that u usually see when connecting to the internet to browse from ur phone(the only time u wont see it is if ur already connected, which obviously u can tell by the icon)

once that bubble dissapears u are connected to the internet on ur phone.......

now ur phone screen should read "check ur USB connection"

at this time make sure ur cable is plugged into the laptop first..............

then plug it into ur 6700..............

now look at ur laptop screen...........

u should see in ur tray at the bottom the "acquiring network thingy" like as if u just plugged in a regular lan cable.

once that icon dissappears.......ur on!

open up ur web browser and off u go!
