When you see the keyboard icon on the bottom of the screen click on it. you will see a arrow to the right of it. Tap on this and it will bring up your selectable keyboards. If you are having a problem making it stay the default keyboard search for a program called SIPchange or DefaultIMWM5. They are both listed in the below post.

Yeah, I chose PCM Keyboard by going into Setting => Input, thinking that would change my default, but I everytime I want to use that keyboard I have to click the little triangle and reselect it. So the only way to change the default keyboard it to use either SIPchange or DefaultIMWM5? There is no native way to change the default without a 3rd party app?

As far as I know PCM keyboard is the only keyboard that exhibits this symptom. I used to use Resco keyboard and just selecting it from the list worked fine with no third party apps. If you look at the FAQs on PocketCM's web site it talks about using Default IM Selector.

Re: default keybaord

Downloaded the SIPchange.CAB from here, found it in other posts too, and the latest
PocketCM Keyboard from its site.

Seen the directions, tried them all, that I found.

PCM is under options, but it's for voice recording,
not the keyboard:

Settings > Personal > Input

select Keyboard from dropdown and the only options tab is at the
bottom 'options' tab and thats for voice recordings.

Select PCM, nothing.
Tried combination of installing, reinstalling, soft resetting etc.

Selected form the arrow by the keyboard icon in apps.

Tried holding down right enter button.

So was attempted on a Sprint HTC 6800 Mogul Titan with SPB Mobile Shell 3.

What silliness I'm a doing wrong or what have I missed or flew over?

Thanks for the help.

Used a version of PCM Keyboard from the huge selction thread, v23, and now works.
