Smile Point UI works with double launcher

"When loaded none of the hardware buttons work which sucks"

I am using "Double Launcher" along with a Freeware App Zapit to close open programs while running PointUI. Double Launcher can assign upto 4 responses for a hardware key. I assigned Zapit to a single click of the Comm Hardware button with other types of presses reserved for the original Comm function and Vibra Switch (love that little app). When Zapit is installed it places an app in the programs folder (5k in size). To quickly close PointUI just browse apps and scroll to the bottom and click Zapit from within PointUI. The App closes promptly. All other apps can be closed with the hardware key assigned to Zapit while they are in focus on the device (i.e. in use) or via the taskmanager in PointUI i.e. highlight running app, and click the Zapit hardware key to close application. Links to the apps are listed below. Please let me know how this works for you.

Double Launcher (Demo lets you assign one button only... full version $10)

a1jatt... if you have a registry editor you can change the email shortcut path i believe it is app.email.storename (storename is your email) and then restart home... if you need a better explination go to the pointui.com forums it says it in the release notes.

This looks like a nice start and it reminds me of a lot of the Android demos out there. Great to see new interfaces and OSes in the works even if they have some new-software issues.
